I love being reminded how exciting and simple life is through the eyes of my 4th graders!  Here are a few notes that I found in desks today....

a new year...

...a fresh start.

I love the sound of that! January always makes me reflect on the past year and look forward to the year that we now have.  I've never been a big fan of resolutions (because I can never keep them!) so I decided to make goals this year instead. I haven't finished my list, but here's what I have so far!

Suggestions are welcome! And if you want a hand written note... send me your address! haha Maybe I should add "write on my blog more often" to that list.... hmmmmm.

Also, according to one of my students, if you are a white person who is larger than him (a smaller, black boy) he considers you a "B-A-C".  Which, according to him, stands for "big ass caucasian". After sending him to the office for his language, I had a really big laugh over this!!
